Until today it was unknown which company marked their wares with this K&C marking. Since the mark is impressed into the base, rather than being stamped on it, one may assume that it is the factory mark, not the mark of a retailer.
I found that there was a ceramics producing company named Porzellan- u. Steingutfabrik von Kriegel & Co, in Prag, that marked their wares with an impressed 'K&C' marking. See pressglas-korrespondenz.de/aktuelles/pdf/pk-2014-1w-sg-teller-kriegel-prag-bacc-1842.pdf.
At this point in time I attribute the K. & C. marking to this company.
