Hersteller / Manufacturer.
Known dates: Factory founded in 1789 and closed in 1931.
Founded by Nicolas Villeroy. Born 1759. Died 1843.

This piece probably started out life as a 1 litre pitcher produced at the Wallerfangen factory. It is thought that the lid was added after it left the factory.

This base mark is on the pitcher above. It is thought in this case that the number of "petals" protruding from the base, could possibly indicate the year of manufacture between 1881 to 1889. So in this
case the year might be 1885.
