Studied at Königliche Keramische Fachschule in Höhr 1896-1899, then became a sculptor & modeller at Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur
In 1910 was appointed a teacher at the Königliche Keramische Fachschule in Höhr.

but made by S.P. Gerz I due to the colour glaze, probably made under the Steinzeugwerke Höhr-Grenzhausen GmbH, banner.
