1 litre Porcelain souvenir stein dated 1888. It has a lithophane showing King Ludwig II of Bavaria, who had died in 1886. However, Otto, his younger brother, who was to be king, had already been declared mad, and regents ruled in his place. They presumably weren't considered to be sufficiently royal to be on a lithophane. ×
