Founded 1883, the Goedecke brothers operated independently until 1906. In 1888 their address was
Schmidstraße 37 and in 1894, Steinthorstraße 18, with eight employees, finally moving to Georgstraße 40, by 1906. The business of Gebrüder Aug. & Ferd. Goedecke became the Hannover branch of Louis Huth of Pößneck, trading as Louis Huth vorm. Gebrüder Goedecke, sometime between January 1906 and July 1907. It is believed to have closed down, sometime before 1927.

1 Litre Villeroy & Boch - Mettlach #1526 stein, dated 1892, celebrating all the states which were included in the second "Deutsches Reich" which was the Hohenzollern Empire of the three Emperors, Wilhelm I, Friedrich III & Wilhelm II, and which lasted from 1871 to 1918.
