Wilhelm Stirn was active from around 1901 when. (A pewter souvenir stein by F&M dated july 1904 is known.) Before the company was called Friedrich Schwarz (Uhrmacher). Friedrich Schwarz (watchmaker) was most likely the predecessor of Wilhelm Stirn.
