Founded in 1872. The last known address book entry at Köpenickerstraße was 1915. Plato & Co's address had a number of businesses resident over the years.
From 1817 up to 1894 it was also a distillery (Carl Radicke), and from 1912 to 1938 it was occupied by a silk wholesaler (Marcus Fleischmann) as well.

Hauber & Reuther #160 as on the base of the featured stein (central below). It is unknown why someone attempted to remove the vendor's name, but Plato & Co. Berlin is still visible.

The above Hauber & Reuther #160 stein, circa 1890, (Schuhplattler) was made by Merkelbach & Wick and subsequently decorated by Hauber & Reuther. This particular stein has been marked Plato & Co.
