Thuemler Manufacturing Co. of Pittsburgh around 1900. Pressed steel lid fitted with a five ring pewter hinge. Scene is of a monk reading a newspaper.
Decorator's handwritten name under glaze. Thuemler stein identified by the annular rings on the base. Thuemler never used a conventional capacity mark, but used numbers to indicate U.S Fluid Ounces. It is marked 10 which equates to 0.296 litres.
